Baby Jogger are unfortunately discontinuing the Baby Jogger City Mini GT in the Shadow Crimson colour. We have just a few remaining in stock so don't miss out if you are keen on this colour.

We don't really know whey they have replaced the shadow crimson with shadow blue but there you are.

Fresh in to the showroom and fresh out of the box comes the DOT from phil&teds.
Like the advert states, it really is a compact buggy, I may even go as far to say it's "cute".
It's slim, easy to fold and the 10" air filled wheels would definitely respond well to both city and off road terrain...all this and it takes a doubles kit too. 
I do feel they have compromised slightly on the size of the seat, which wouldn't leave too much space for an older child's bottom.  Also the recline on the main seat is a bit clunky in my opinion with clips on each side which I imagine would be quite difficult to master with a child sitting in the seat....having said this, there are a couple of extra features which set it apart from other models, like the tailfree harness, which keeps the straps nice and tidy and the clever recline on the doubles kit.
So over all, pretty impressive stuff!

Your mother knows best = - or does she ...

What a delightful morning we had at pushchairs and carseats with a charming group of young mothers and their adorable babies.  We enjoyed tea and cakes whilst learning how to sort out the multitude of options available when choosing a car seat and the value of one to one expert help.  I enjoyed myself hugely being allowed several cuddles with the young charmers all of whom behaved impeccably, I really admire the way mothers today seem so relaxed and capable - I remember being a lot more anxious and I didn't have all the information on the internet to disturb me! 

I take my hat off to them all and am considering changing the name of this blog to "granny learns how to suck eggs"!  Visitors to the showroom are always welcome, it helps if we know you are coming so the appropriate expert can be available, especially if you are coming a reasonable distance, and if you would like a similar event for a small group that can be arranged too.

Don’t get me wrong, I adore technology, but I do worry that I am doing someone out of a job.  For that reason I avoid the self checkout in supermarkets, quite apart from always managing to have “an unexpected item in the baggage area”.  I also get very frustrated with call centres when even after pressing several buttons I can still hear an entire performance of The Four Seasons. 

Recently I have begun to notice a small turnaround, last week a company actually asked for my phone number and called me back!  Some companies ( like pushchairsandcarseats) still have real people answering the phones, also have you noticed how the sunny weather and Jubilee fever have made people so much nicer?
